American popular automaker, Chevrolet has just unveiled the 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible which is one of the most capable drop-tops on its class.

How does the ‘most capable drop-tops’ means to you? It’s simply the way Chevy would like to tell us that they have just outed the most powerful convertible they ever produced. Under-the-hood, there’s an all-new LT4 6.2L supercharged V-8 engine, expected to deliver at least 625 horsepower (466 kW) and 635 lb-ft of torque (861 Nm). The system is balanced with performance and efficiency with the LT4 utilizes same trio of advance technologies of Direct Injection, Active Fuel Management and continues variable valve timing —-these tech-optimizations are introduced earlier on the Corvette Stingray.

“The Z06 Convertible is a world-class supercar in every sense,” said Mark Reuss, executive vice president, Global Product Development. “Only a handful of convertibles in the world bring more than 600 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. Even fewer can match the advanced technologies, aerodynamic design, and visceral driving experience of the Z06 Convertible.”

Now that is just the tip of the iceberg about Z06, there’s a lot more on its great aerodynamics, aluminum components and aggressive styling. How do you feel about the overall design and power, let us know in the comment form below.
