Automakers seemed to have a hard time on keeping their car details on-hold until the 2012 New York Auto Show for their official announcement. And this time, the flagship model of Project Nina have been leaked through the Czech site Autoforum, right just after the virtual jump was the first two images of Fisker Atlantic.
Though the Fisker Atlantic have scarce details we’ve hint that it’ll be running BMW’s 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo engine.
In Sept. 2011, Fisker and BMW agreed on a deal where BMW will supply Fisker with up to 100,000 4-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engines. The engine will of course be hooked up to an electric-motor, making the Atlantic a plug-in hybrid sedan.
The Fisker Atlantic should be available by next year, and seemed to be more affordable plug-in hybrid than the Fisker Karma who’ve hit the shelves with whooping $100K+ price.
